Want to get more involved in the Sonoma State campus community this next academic year? Interested in being a part of shared governance? Want to deepen your understanding of academic policy and process? Want to work with various people from different areas across campus? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, we encourage you to consider running for a seat on the Staff Council and/or joining a University Committee. No experience is required, simply an interest in getting engaged!
Please note that while most of the seats are for a two-year period, there are two one-year seats (Staff Council Vice Chair and PAC-DECCI rep), and one three-year seat (Sustainability Advisory Committee). You can learn more about all open committee seats here: learn more about the open positions.
Please indicate your interest here – Call for Committee Representatives. The deadline is Friday, May 16, 2025, by 5 p.m. We will set up a Qualtrics survey for any seats with interest from two or more people. We look forward to seeing all the statements of interest!
